{ FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS }
What should I wear?
You can come as you wish, whether it be from work or from the gym. Just note that our Friday night socials are cocktail attire (without the cocktails).
What shoes should I wear?
A thin sole shoe works best for everyone. Gentlemen, a dress shoe with a leather or suede bottom is good. Flip flops, sandals, and tennis shoes are harder to dance in and not suggested. Ladies, a thin sole is also best. The size of the heel is up to you. We suggest anything between a flat and 3 inches. Flip-flops, mules, platforms, and tennis shoes are not recommended. As you progress in your dancing you should upgrade to a dance shoe. We can help you out with that.
Do I need a partner?
No, you do not need a partner, but partners are welcomed of course.
What type of payment do you accept?
We accept cash, checks, or credit.
What if I need to cancel an appointment?
A 24-hour notice is required to cancel or reschedule (unless otherwise stated ). Please leave a message if you cannot get a hold of us. If you must cancel and you have not given a 24hour notice, your lesson will be considered a lesson taken. Therefore, we suggest if there are two of you, that one of you come take the lesson alone. And if you are running late, come for whatever time you have left.
What ages do you teach?
The majority of people we teach are adults, but we will take youngsters 12 years of age and up.
Do you teach American or International?
At this time we only offer American Style.
What ages do you teach?
We are usually on the dance floor teaching a lesson so we may be unable to always answer the phone. Please leave a message. We check the messages daily and try to return calls by next day. You can always email us as well – [email protected]
What if I have an odd request?
What seems odd to you may not be so odd to us. Learning Thriller for your first dance? Been there. Want an interpretational lyrical piece choreographed to send off to your Military sweetheart? Done that. Feel free to ask what you have in mind, and we’ll let you know what we can do. But let’s keep it professional folks. 😉
